LOCA is a coffee gear that anyone can use for a long time.
With proper care, LOCA can be used semi-permanently.
After use care instructions
Immediately rinse the beans and surface with hot water after each use.
Run the beans through hot water until the water runs clear.
If using detergent, run the water longer and make sure no detergent remains in the filter.
Periodic maintenance
The filter's fine grain causes clogging (coffee grounds, oil, etc.) with repeated use. If the flow rate is low after passing boiled water through the filter several times, the filter is beginning to become clogged. Here are some essential care instructions to ensure long use.
Baking
Place the filter on a net with the mouth of the filter facing up and place it on high heat on the stove.
Bake for about 10 minutes until white smoke comes out of the filter and no more smoke is produced.
Use tongs to rotate the filter while baking all over.
*The filter is extremely hot after baking. Allow it to cool sufficiently before picking it up.
*Quick cooling or heating may cause the filter to crack.
Be careful not to burn yourself.
Boiling + baking soda (baking powder)
Put enough water in a heat-resistant bowl, add 2 spoons of baking soda or baking powder, and heat the filter in a microwave oven (500W/5 minutes, 700W/3 minutes).
Alternatively, put 2 spoons of baking soda in a pot of boiling water and boil for 10-20 minutes.
Make sure to turn the filter mouth up.
Rinse well with warm water to remove the baking soda before use.
Baking soda (baking powder) should only be used if it is sold as a food additive or antacid.

*Quick cooling may cause the filter to crack.
Insufficient boiling time may result in no improvement.
*Some effect can be obtained without using baking soda at the time of boiling.
